Just a quick entry...I'm spending my day off reading the new knit mags. The new IK has a wonderful article on the knitting craze among college students, and another by Judith MacKenzie on the fundamentals of yarn construction. Shroom, my beloved grey cat, is helping me peruse the issue. Mumzer is on the bed above her, but he's not interested in knitting--although he does like to poach yarn while I've got my back turned.

Next up, the new Vogue Knitting. There's a feature on how to cable without a needle--an essential skill for those of us who keep losing things....
